10 Unexpected Item Upgrade Tips

10 Unexpected Item Upgrade Tips

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

The upgrade of gear can increase its stats base and often increases its other features. The value of these upgrades is determined by the tiers of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.

For example, the elite racial shield Razortail is commonly upgraded for its lightning absorb function in PvP or to add additional defenses on missile based designs in PvM. This makes it more marketable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens let you reroll a purchased item, like an armor, weapon or ring. The item is swapped for a different one of the same type and comes with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't preserve the original item's level and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

The survivors can acquire reroll tokens via a variety of methods, including from the Mistery Box or as rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in crates and chests or bought at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change the attributes of a piece of equipment that could include increasing its damage or granting it a brand new stat.

Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack, while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give players an additional level of health.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available: upgrade rare and legendary. Each of these upgrades the item to a better quality. To produce them, you require a higher-quality token for rerolling. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens that are placed on action areas, remains on the space till the next Success is rerolled. This is a way to prevent the waste of upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the start of every preparation phase. They can be opened with Interact by grabbing on to them. Once they are open they show a complete description and an icon for the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's shop will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for a small amount.

In the end, you can move blueprints between the Staple Pool (which is the default pool) and the Non-staple Pool during a game. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop offers for rerolls and those that are located in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade weapons, armor and accessories. These are special stones that increase an item's level by increasing its stats and attributes. These items can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs in the major towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell them for a price. In addition, players can get these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item, then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will become when it is upgraded. It will also display the amount of Growth Stones required to do so. The number of Growth Stones needed to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

Once they have decided on the upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will increase the item's level a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last between a few seconds and minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is risk-free, and does not impact the durability of the item. It's a great way for players who want to get an edge in combat but don't want burden their wallets. Additionally players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

The process of getting Growth Stones in Throne and Liberty is a daunting task for players who are new to the game. However, there are many ways to acquire these stones, such as completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets you increase the effectiveness of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets as well as helms. The Upgrade Station allows you to combine an item with upgrade materials, and pay a fee in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The process will consume the upgrade materials and give the item a higher level, granting the item an additional boost in that area. This process can continue until the item reaches its maximum level.

Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon beside their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to a single item at one time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items, as well as a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station features two slots: the first is where players can place a piece of equipment to be upgraded, while the right shows a preview of what the equipment will look like when it reaches its next level. Pressing the yellow arrow after the player has enough materials will begin the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment may be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will be increased by a small amount. The highest level for an item is 19.

Once an item has reached its maximum level, its upgrades will not be available for it. Once a piece of equipment reaches a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a kind of equipment that can slot into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to provide an additional benefit or bonus when the equipment is equipped. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this could destroy the old upgrade.

Requirements

Upgrades to items give players the ability to increase certain stats on armor and weapons that they currently have. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary depending on its type, but you'll typically need Dilithium and an amount of Upgrade tokens.

Item upgrade components can be slotted into equipment sets and weapons for additional effects or to increase the quality item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, purchasing at the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from raids and bosses. Once an upgrade element is placed in an item it cannot be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.

Upgrades to an item can increase its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components also have additional modifiers that can increase the item's stats.

The upgrade to the helm "Foundation of the Sun" For example, increases base defense and adds an additional 20 percent chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however increases damage to weapons.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they achieve a perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for instance is highly sought-after by melee PvP communities and could be worth up to 20-50 times the non-upp’d version.

The game will show you the requirements once you choose the upgrade component that is incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor), the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.

The game will place an item in your inventory after you've completed the prerequisites for an upgrade. The progress bar will then change to show how close you are towards finishing the upgrade. You can also track the status of an  item upgrade  by visiting any NPC that upgrades items.
